"Trump has radicalized so many more people than Isis" CNN
Yes... this really did just happen.
A CNN commentator literally just said Trump has radicalized so many more people than Isis ever did... We live in weird times my friends... Times where Megan Kelly gets fired and ostracized for saying that when she was a kid it was OK to wear makeup that darkens or lightens your skin to idolize someone on halloween... and now wearing make up to be appear like a black idol is no longer ok... (she at no point said the history of minstrel shows, black face or anything of the sort is acceptable and later apologized tearfully). That was worthy of national outrage and condemnation as well as the loss of her show, but a CNN host saying something as disturbing and irrational as Trump has radicalized more people than Isis gets a pass? It's important to note that when the conservative host called her out on her comment being irresponsible the other panelists leapt to her defense saying "Why is it irresponsible?" in a smug voice...
She then doubled down and claimed that Trump is pushing an equally hateful ideology as isis and has far more supporters...
It appears during the break CNN clearly gave her a talking to and made her apologize... but i'll sit back and wait and see if the degree of outrage and response over this comes anywhere near Kellys far more benign comments. You want to talk about fear mongering... this is fear mongering. What's most interesting is that when the conservative commentator brought up Farrakhan, a man who just publicly called jews termites, sitting next to Bill Clinton recently, with no outrage or condemnation from the left, the response from the CNN panel was not to agree and condemn Farrakhan and Bill but instead to get angry and say "WHAT DOES FARRAKHAN HAVE TO DO WITH ME"... Apparently democrats are allowed to be anti semitic and or associate with them with no consequence because the part of tolerance has thus proclaimed it so. This is a perfect example of the terrible hypocrisy that has permeated the left.
